Daily Duties at Pulse Staffing, Inc.:

Traveling R.N. responsible for 13-24 -week contractual employment performing duties specializing in critical care and emergency nursing throughout the state of California. Primary duties included: 1. Charge Nurse (Shift Supervisor) responsible for coordinating and managing shift operations, implementation of emergency room protocols, and staff supervision of anywhere from 6 – 22 Registered Nurses and any number of nursing support staff. 2. Rapid assessment, intervention, and treatment of emergent patient populations using Basic Life Support (HCP-BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC) treatment modalities. 3. Assessment and therapeutic management of routine/urgent patient populations (neonatal/pediatric/adult) and delegating job-specific tasks to support staff. 4. Inter-facility ground transport of trauma and critically ill patients within a two hour radius. 5. HAZMAT and Disaster Management training.
