Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman Corp:
Responsible Engineer for the Formal Qualification of B-2 Flight/Mission Operational Flight Program (FMOFP) software also known as the B-2 Bus Controller or B-2 Flight/Mission Computer Software. My Duties include: To advise the technical staff and other departments of Corrective Actions and Software Problem Reports (CA/SPR) issues and to oversee their implementation, processing, peer review and resolution using Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Guidelines and Department Work Instructions. To act as the Chairperson for the Mission Data User Group overseeing the development of Mission Data Files and software mission tools for Avionics Integration Laboratory (AIL) use. To mentor engineers and supervised the following technical functions: System Control, Start and Integration of Remote Terminals, Mission Loading, Background Transfers, GMT, Controls and Displays, Navigation (Stellar, Doppler, Inertial, Dead Reckoning and GPS), Reference Pressure Altitude, Radar Altimeters, Radar, Stores (conventional, nuclear and GPS), Guidance, Flight Plan Management, In-Flight Re-planning and Performance Data Calculations. I have had over a decade of experience with a majority of the above FMOFP functions.
