Daily Duties at Gte Wireless:

• Managed the daily operations of the retail store; screened and interviewed potential employment candidates, made hiring decisions, staff training, ensured employee development and production, created staff schedules, maintained inventory control, ordered and purchased merchandise, performed competitor analyses, conducted sales training meetings, and implemented sales objectives • Created & conducted presentations for cellular devices and plans and overcame objectives to close sales • Developed, implemented, and enforced process, policy, and procedures to increase efficiency • Carried out major reviews of store organizational practices and identified areas for improvement • Developed and implemented merchandising displays to promote and effectively display merchandise • Ensured profitability by maintaining pricing standards, sufficient inventory, and movement of goods • Facilitated and conducted innovative and effective training programs for the San Diego training facility • Managed and directed 7 GTE Wireless retail locations and four kiosks, consisting of 30 to 40 employees • Launched three new retail locations; facilitated all logistics, maintained timelines, & developed displays
