Daily Duties at Marriott Towne Place Suites:

Serves as a first responder and go to person within all facets of the hotel’s responsibilities and business. Functions and carries on the task of the General Manager when absent. Readily available and versatile, being able to stand-in and work any position if needed. Concerned with the growth of the hotel staff, provides systematic training techniques through the use of On the Job Training (OJT) along with FOSSE Manuals to newly hired staff or providing refresher courses for seasoned employees on the functions of the hotel, layout, as well as their respective jobs. Accurately handles all accounting cash, check and credit transactions while performing bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts, posting charges for rooms, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgers and conducting nightly audits. Develops relationships by providing a homely environment to extended stay guest, effort results in guest returning, receiving excellent on weekly surveys raising the overall national level of the hotel.
