Daily Duties at Domino Amjet/ Fast Technology:

Install and support commercial printing bindery controllers, inkjet printers, and mailing machines throughout the United States. • Performed customized Siemens PLC programming and to insure reliable interface with PC’s. (TI, Step 7, Profi-Bus) in Dos or Windows environment. • Provided phone support for customers. Set up and managed through remote modem, software and hardware home based on-line support. This allowed fast, cost effective diagnostics and production testing from remote location. • Set up and physically installed all hardware and customized software to manage controllers used for quality production of magazines and other consumer printing using targeted customer advertising from publishers. • Complete wiring of controller interface to existing electrical components on custom machines using up to 300 input/output devices. • Set up integration of commercial inkjet printers, insuring correct interface and conducted troubleshooting for state of the art inkjet printers producing barcodes and mailing and produce ID information on all forms of printed media. • Prepared communication links for controllers to produce Postal codes, barcodes, rasters, fonts, with encoder tracking, and complete customer install/training/satisfaction.
