Daily Duties at Casa, Inc:
Work and train staff, supervise and disciplinary action with staff,worked closely with my Supervisor, HR, Director, Asst Director, accounting, and nursing staff. Set-up and ran all staff meetings, kept staff updated in all trainnings, scheduling, payroll, approved/denied benefit time requests.Attended and participated in all trainnings for continued learning and updates for myself. I was on the Safety Committee and the Quality Assurance Committee. I was a member of the interview for new hire team and also was on the team for disciplinary action team. I was "on call" 5 days a week and every-other weekend. For the individuals who are receiving services, I would meet with guardians/parents, Social workers, Dr's., school meetings, schedule all appointments for those who need this service, guide individuals into making good choices for themselves,assist in all banking areas, job search, and support them in any way they required the need of support. I matched staff with consumers--ones that worked well together and to continue to have it therapeutic. Safety and Health are the 2 primary criteria. They always came before anything else.
