Daily Duties at The Advent Group, Inc.:

Manage all areas relating to financial reporting. Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Supervise five staff accountants to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. Guarantee bi-weekly disbursement of payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws. Address tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. Communicate with Directors, Executive Directors and Controller both written and verbal the current cash position.
