Daily Duties at Water & Earth Technologies, Inc.:
Charged with creating publishable watershed location and delineation maps using ESRI ArcView 9.0 (GIS), performing hydrologic studies and topographical field surveys to create and calibrate rainfall runoff models using SEDCAD 2.0, interpreting in-stream flow gage data, and producing hydraulic stage-discharge models in HEC-RAS. Assimilate all required documentation, then produce, edit, and publish flood warning system reports. Install and maintain radio transmitting (RT) rainfall and pressure transducer (PT) stream flow gage stations. Assist project engineers with various AutoDesk 2007 (AutoCAD) operations, including: cut/fill and volume calculations, earthen dam design, detention/retention/sedimentation pond sizing and design, spillway design, road design, slope analyses, erosion potential studies (RUSLE), and grading plans.
