Daily Duties at Shawnee Mission Medical Center:
Acted as a lead strategist to develop plans and strategies in the opening of a Shawnee Mission Medical Centers Private Duty Division, becoming the main point of contact for patients, vendors and employees. Responsible for office managerial duties and administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinate schedules and reviewing and processing confidential employee and patient documents. Responsible for identifying the needs of the medical centers education, training, programs and services in the area of competencies critical to exceed business needs and objectives. Hired, trained and mentored qualified Private Duty staff on patient care, customer service initiatives, proper documentation providing current policy and procedures for Joint Commission reviews.
