Daily Duties at The University Of Arizona, College Of Pharmacy & Cancer Center:
Coordinate and perform a range of duties and projects while providing operational support to various departments, utilizing organizational skills to motivate team performance with Center objectives and mission. Projects and Accomplishments: Provided overall support for the Office of Continuing Education and Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research. Assisted with homecoming event planning for alumni and students. Oversaw advertising and marketing efforts for scientific journals to increase conference registration. Assisted with grants and prepared conference materials and registration for CE and HOPE center programs. Maintained and monitored departmental websites, updating the layout of calendar events and promotional advertising activities. Acted as the Diversity Coalition representative for the College of Pharmacy. Received the 2005 Staff Award for Excellence for the College of Pharmacy. Act as an interface with the University associates and departments, assisting with Cancer Center Patient Clinics (while maintaining the level of patient confidentiality required by HIPAA), Directors and the COO to ensure office were running at optimum efficiency. Establish budgets and analyze prior year expenditures to forecast yearly annual spending, presenting findings to key decision makers and recommending effective strategies. Completed and conducted training in PCard, FSO systems, The University of Arizona Foundation for paying expenses and deposits, travel authorizations and travel reimbursement. Schedule video conferences “focus groups” for AZCC/Banner Health, coordinating schedules amongst remote groups and time zones. Accountable for managing numerous, simultaneous projects, gathering scopes and specifications from key stakeholders while maintain operational budgets and remaining within stringent timelines.
