Daily Duties at Allied Waste Management/Bfi:
I began my employment with Allied as a Temp working in Customer Service. After a few months, I was hired as a full time employee. I began training my co-workers in customer service techniques that I had developed in previous positions. The performance of that section improved and I was transferred to Collections. I increased revenue, settled disputes and reclaimed previously lost customers. I was promoted to Manager of Collections. After 12 months I was again promoted and transferred to Customer Retention where I solved customer problems and negotiated new contracts for services which resulted in the highest retention rates to date in that division.
