Daily Duties at Miami University:

• Responsibilities in material analysis lab: synthesizing carbon-basic materials; performing analytical assays based on new and existing methodologies and operating analytical instrumentation such as GC-MS, XRD, FTIR, BET, SEM • Responsibilities in paper testing lab: performing physical, optical, mechanical properties test for paper products, including engineering improvement for testers; writing technical reports and making oral presentations to advisors • Teaching Assistant for courses Thermodynamics, Material & Energy Balance, Heat Transfer and Unit Operation Lab
