Daily Duties at Mergermarket:
• Supervising 3 junior accountants including training and appraisals and responsible for managing the team to ensure the work is properly allocated and completed in a timely accurate manner. • Managing accounts payable and receivable functions within the company's established policies. Arranges and overseeing completion of all work including posting and processing. Responsible for 1099s and Quarterly Sales Tax Return preparation. • Managing the preparation, distribution and reporting processes for payroll. Responsible for Payroll Journals. • Managing monthly bank reconciliations, roll forwards and other schedules necessary for the operations of the company. • Responsible for month-end closing procedure such as preparation of financial and operating reports including trial balances, adjustments and closing entries • Preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flow. • Providing assistance to external audit functions including preparation of audit schedules. • Support Global Controller and the CFO with special projects and workflow process improvement.
