Daily Duties at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital:

• Directed daily operations of all hospitality and non-clinical services for medical/surgical private unit • Developed a self-directed management team to implement progressive changes. • Prepared annual budget and all financial reports including forecasts for Operations. • Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising large scale catering operations and special events. • Developed effective marketing strategies and public relations with physicians. • Responsible for inventory control, purchasing of food and beverage supplies as well as amenities merchandises. • Provided Hotel-services for the patients and their guests. • Coordinated and upgraded menus to meet each patient’s individual dietary needs based on the diagnosis. • Developed and implemented the opening of VIP private unit. • Created and directed all hospitality and non-clinical services for Medical/Surgical private Unit. • Expanded, implemented, and managed sales and marketing plan. • Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising 25 employee that consisted of housekeeping, transportation, nutrition, reception, admitting, billing, financial screening, and culinary staff. • Prepare annual budgets and all financial analyses. • Purchased food, beverage supplies, and nursing materials. • Established standard operation procedure for food and beverage control. • Catered to patients individual dietary needs based on their diagnosis. • Coordinated menus for special occasions. • Developed and maintained on going relationships with physicians and patients. • Negotiated with and selected all vendor.
