Daily Duties at Mercury Insurance:
Responsible for all Vice President duties, including staffing, closing a defunct office, training, marketing and branding the Mercury name. I split my time between the OKC office and other areas in KS, TX and LA. I also traveled to HO in CA as needed and participated on Executive National Management meetings. Included in responsibilities were price setting, working with actuaries, responding to Department of Insurance issues; audits; oversight of building; assisting in move from original office in OKC to finding new office building in NW OKC--where Mercury is and has been since 2004. Not only did I develop the personal lines department (Homeowners, Auto), but I also grew the commercial lines department to represent 20% of the Underwriting Department's revenue.
