Daily Duties at Lawson Products:

Handled five counties in Oklahoma and sold all chemicals and industrial products. Established sales points, negotiated pricing, serviced all clients needs. I would typically cover one or two of the counties each day, depending on scheduling and delivery requirements. Prior to each day I'd fill out a target list and map of following day's events and clients to see. Most of these calls were cold so not too much scheduling involved; in some cases you'd need to schedule, but more the opposite and just a matter of getting to know when best to drop in on which kind of client. I'd meet, put up any orders they'd received, and ask for new orders...along with a variety of product demonstrations to expand the goods they bought from Lawson. At day's end, I'd write a report of calls, results, process orders, talk to my manager, etc.
