Daily Duties at Department Of Transportation:

• Responsible for meeting deadlines established by OIG/GAO in adherence with the Secretary of Labor’s Strategic Business Plan; • Developed Audit, FOIA, and Privacy Act Standard Operating Procedures for the Office of Job Corps; • Provided and coordinated responses within Job Corps on request from Congressional House and Senate Appropriations Audit areas; • Tracked data integrity audit information on a quarterly basis by collecting, reviewing, and disseminating data to the Job Corps data center and budget unit for verification of credit removals and the collection of liquidated damages; • Manages associated budget and reviews all vouchers for the GAO/OIG contracts;• Served as the agency’s expert Office of Program Management (TPM) GAO/OIG Audit Contact including OIG Hotlines (Audit Liaison); • Provided authoritative advice to upper level management on the TPM Annual Program Plan, GAO/OIG audit reports, program apportionment ,including grant budget activity; • Provided program evaluation analysis, briefings, and written studies associated with GAO/OIG issues; • Provided detailed and sound analysis of GAO/OIG recommendations; • Provided contacts for GAO/OIG with various FTA program officials; • Coordinated and participated in meetings on controversial issues between FTA and GAO/OIG, representing TPM’s position on a number of subject areas including grants management, emergency transit assistant, state safety oversight, etc.;
