Daily Duties at Isle Of Capri Casino And Racetrack:
I was hired to turn the facility around. Post-opening GM for a new racino with an old outdated harness track. I was responsible for ensuring that budgeted operating results met or exceeded budget in all areas of the operation. Slot and poker operations as well as food and beverage and the harness track all reported directly to me. There were 7 executive manager's that reported directly to me. Additionally security, surveillance, housekeeping, valet, human resources, marketing and facilities maintenance reported directly or indirectly to me. Total property headcount at the beginning of my tenure was 1,000 and when I transfered had been reduced to 800.
