Daily Duties at Zurich American Insurance Company:
Represented various sized employers in 70-80 complex asbestos litigation cases filed by injured workers at the California WCAB. Negotiated settlement of liens from medical, disability and other benefit providers in support of a staff of 6-8 attorneys with 140 to 180 cases per attorney. Prepared settlement documents and a variety of legal pleadings for these attorneys in their representation of various employers before the California WCAB. In less complex cases, represented various sized employers in court cases filed by injured workers at the California WCAB.
