Daily Duties at Clairol, Inc.:
I was hired right out of high school as a secretary in the Project Engineering Department and was promoted to Executive Assistant to Director of Engineering, and then to Engineering Control Clerk reporting to the Director of Engineering. Responsibiliies included implementation of control policies and procedures for engineering budgets, capital and repair maintenance expenditures and disbursements of funds. Was liaison between engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Project Engeering, Drafting, and Accounting departments. Responsible for daily tracking and payroll reporting for 80 employees. Attended daily/weekly meetings. Responsible for taking meeting minutes, then and typing and distributing minutes to the President.
