Daily Duties at Roanoke Chowan Hospital:
Act as charge nurse during primary shifts, directing staff and patient flow on the medical surgical unit. Also responsible for general nursing duties, caring for patients. Also worked as hospital supervisor responsible for staffing and patient flow throughout entire hospital and responding to all emergencies. On PICC days, responsible for PICC line scheduling and insertion. Also responsible for staff, patient, and family education regarding care and maintenance of PICC lines.
