Daily Duties at Mc Donnell Douglas Computer Systems Company (Formerly Microdata):
I did development and testing of the Reality/370 MVS application. I used TSO/E, JES3 JCL, and ISPF to do editing and to perform compilations and links. Often, I performed conversions for customers to migrate them from other Pick-style systems into Reality/370. For product demonstrations, I set up VAR demo accounts under TSO, setting up logon procedures and passwords for these accounts. I worked very closely with marketing and traveled extensively to VAR and customer sites to provide direct technical support. After the project was canceled, my work continued with Petrodata/Perot to support a previously deployed system at NationsBank (now Bank of America). The company ceased operations and closed in 1990.
