Daily Duties at Babcock And Wilcox (B&W) Hanford Company:

I was assigned to this position following a major personnel contamination event in which seven personnel were contaminated on the skin and five of those personnel received internal exposure (inhaled radioactivity). 1. Improve radiological work practices to eliminate skin contaminations and internal exposures. 2. Improve employee involvement in radiological work planning. 3. Improve the use of engineered barriers rather than protective clothing to protect employees from radioactive contamination and airborne radioactivity.
