Collected on overdue accounts from existing customers, including secured accounts, mortgages and lines of credit, and credit card accounts. One of top 5 collectors from Jan-Mar, 2010. Negotiated payment arrangements, settlements, and deposits with customers. Documented and updated information on customers accounts. Managed equity lines and mortgages sent for foreclosure proceeding. Interviewed delinquent mortgage customers; advised them of loan modification programs or possibilities of refinancing. Developed new policies and procedures in the collections department. Modified/updated methods of updating collectors of changes in company policies and changes in laws/regulations governing their conduct. Trained new Collectors/ Customer Service Representatives. Sold home equity lines of credit to existing customers; utilizing company computer system to contact customers and to review their accounts. In top 10 for production during 2008 before being transferred from Sales Department to Collections in corporate reorganization.
