Daily Duties at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals:
Successfully managed a $4.1M territory in the Winston-Salem, NC market and surrounding counties calling on 250+ specialty and high volume primary care physicians, medical groups, and hospitals with a focus on Woman's Health Care. Specialties called on included Endocrinologists, Rheumatologists, OB/GYN's, Urologists, and high volume primary care physicians. Promoted products included Actonel, Enablex, Tazorac, Plendil and Prilosec OTC. Accountable for increasing sales volume and expanding markets through sales to physician offices, medical groups and hospitals. Identified and leveraged business opportunities, and implement action plans for key account to optimize sales performance. Provided high-level consultative selling utilizing clinical studies and pricing strategies to become a trusted resource. Utilized in-depth data analysis to identify key target account and develop territory coverage plans, developed and implemented medical education events including CME events, dinner programs, speaker round-tables, lunch and learns and teleconferences. Developed an effective and efficient coverage plan driven by key customers targets while allocating resources appropriately to maximize business results. Field Sales Trainer responsibilities The Field Sales Trainer is accountable for physician selling capability development and effectiveness of the team’s Account Managers. The FST is responsible for the training/personal development of new hires and assisting the Operations manager with ongoing team training. Provides expert training on anatomy, clinical studies, product knowledge, selling skills and managed care. Works with Ops manager with training the team on advanced selling skills, products and new selling initiatives. Functions as facilitator during centralized training at home office as well as team, regional, and national meetings.
