Daily Duties at Batesville Water And Gas Utility:
Full operation and management of utility services including; customer and vendor accounting and billing, direct supervision of the 11 utility employees, operational budgets, capital budgets, purchasing of over 350,000 DTH of natural gas/yr., creating Board policies for approval of the Board, full implementation of the capital construction each year, creation of the capital 5-year and 10-year plans, contract review and source selection for the gas vendor, the natural gas cost hedging program, and the gas cost tracker program that was part of the customer billing each month.
