Assisted with overseeing the day-to-day activities include: planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the facility's services and programs. Interviewed residents/guardians/sponsors and obtained required admission information and signatures; provided residents with admission information packet including, resident rights, notice of privacy practices, contracts, room rates , billing procedures and guest privileges and restrictions; maintained an accurate record of available beds; transferred and discharged residents; ensured work/assignment areas were clean and records, files, etc. were properly stored; forwarded completed medical records to the Medical Records Department as appropriate; kept abreast of current Medicare/Medicaid regulations governing admission/discharge requirements of health care centers; served on committees. Assisted Administrator with every day duties, (ie) conducting meetings with both management team as well as staff, preparing for state survey, making sure all policies and procedures are updated according to state rules and regulations.
