Daily Duties at Nuvotec Inc:
Determine tests and insprections necessary to startup the Spent Nuclear Fuel Project systems to insure all project requirements would be met. Approve all test plans and procedures. Schedule testing to insure testing would be complete in time to meet the startup milestone. Direct daily testing activities. Approve test results. Determine operator practical training to insure safe startup of this complex, hazardous system. Conduct operator training and certify operators ready for operation. I was assigned to this project because the startup effort was 4 months behind schedule and was projected to miss the startup milestone required by law. Completed the project in time to support startup and avoid a $10,000/day fine from the State of Washington.
