Director of Corporate Marketing and Merchandising. Performed new product acquisitions and maintained vendor relations. Executive in charge of Contract Furniture Division. Conducted vendor relations with Steelcase, BPI, Kimball, Panel Concepts, Virco, etc. Performed bid proposals, managed sales staff and installs. Personally developed the Commercial/Consumer Electronics Division. Created the Financial Systems Department with Sharp, CRS, NCR, and Retail Solutions, Inc. Supervised the system installations and training of end-users in operation of the business software concerning sales & inventory, general ledger, accounts payable and receivables, payroll and WP. Focused primarily in Fine Dining / Lounge / Hospitality, and General types of Retail stores. Including lumber/hardware, clothing, liquor stores, fast food, carpeting, convenience food stores, and various other businesses. Personally developed the Copier/Reprographics Department with Sharp, Minolta, and Panasonic products. Supervised the system installations and training of end-users key operation. Director of PC Department. Authorized TCBC dealer with IBM & Compaq PC products, also Zenith Data Systems, Honeywell Systems and Lanier Business Products. In addition, supervised the service department personnel and monitored their performance.
