Daily Duties at The Robbins Company:

Supported business development by preparing conceptual drawings and machine specifications based on unique needs of each client. Reviewed contract to ensure accuracy and alignment with machine specifications, presenting modifications for client consideration as needed, and created preliminary layouts informed by customer expectations and project requirements. Assigned tasks to engineers and drafters, providing leadership to teams with up to 10 members. Created engineering schedule to efficiently utilize available resources while meeting established deadlines. Oversaw machine layout, making engineering decisions as design evolved, identifying and resolving any issues. Examined detail drawings, verifying manufacturing processes, drawing tolerances, and conformity with contract requirements. Released drawings for manufacturing and provided feedback as required. Visited job sites to provide troubleshooting support.
