Daily Duties at Sos International Ltd.:

Assisted in managing a $67 million dollar CPFF U.S. STRATCOM contract to deliver technology capabilities supporting the Foreign Media Analysis (FMA) Business Model with a technical budget of approximately $10 million dollars (P&L responsibilities). Responsible for budgetary management of the technical budget and employed EVMS techniques to evaluate system performance. Managed software development in accordance with International Software Engineering Standards (ISO/IEC/IEEE/SEI-CMMI/W3C). Managed third-party vendors contracted to provide portal development software and COTS/proprietary application deliveries. Instituted SDLC, SCM and SQA standards to manage software deliveries and software system integration for task management using MS Project. Established the Project Management Plan (PMP), Communications Plan, Quality Assurance (QA) Plan, SCM Plan and Risk Migration Plan to support the contract and ensured security practices and policies were followed. Established a problem identification and management process that was manifested in a Help Desk infrastructure, which also supported Asset Management. Established and conducted Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, Engineering Review Board (ERB) meetings, System Requirements Reviews, Pre/Post Transition Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Code Walk-Throughs, Design Peer Reviews, Code/Design Inspections, C-Level/Executive Management Project Status Briefings and Senior Government Management Briefings to the COR and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Technical Managers.
