Daily Duties at Almstead Tree Co:

Assure the approved, accurate and timely payment of all company vendors and employee Travel and Expense Reports. Assure payments are accurately recorded in the General Ledger. Provide supporting documentation for any adjustments necessary to do so. All necessary actions to Manage cash balance through daily cash procedure. Main Cash Forecasts with input from A/R, Logistics, and key spending managers. Preparation of month–end reports. Manage 1099 process annually. Maintain records of W-9 Forms received. Monthly bank reconciliations and reviewed work. Supervises AP specialists. Prepared and entered vendor Invoices. Supervised accounts payable personnel and reviewed their daily work. Handled all vendor inquiries and reconciled vendor statements. Responsible for writing checks for vendors and operating expenses. Prepared monthly account analysis (detailing and verifying the general ledger balance sheet accounts). Reconciled Payables to G/L, verifying payments made against the invoices Paid invoices according to the project codes Ensures that ledger entries are charged to the proper accounts. Reviews statements and reports and resolves discrepancies, if any, with senior management. Manages month-end close functions for all AP entries including AP accruals and reconciliation of the ledger. Prepare inventory reconciliation and inventory analyst. Identifies and researches returned or unfunded items for Tax, Total Pay, and 401k products. Performs on-site analysis of requirements for payroll, benefits, and 401(k), using a consultative approach to ensure appropriate human resource policies, procedures, and compliance.
