Daily Duties at Usaf Space Command:
Recruited and sourced current civil service employees or new civilian applicants to fulfill management job vacancies. Posted all positions on the worldwide locater system USAF-wide. Wrote job descriptions and maintained database of all qualified applicants. Prepared applicant packages for management review. Pre-screened and initiated first communications with applicant. Provided status updates to management. Managed entire process from first screening to selection. Responsible for all employee continuing education and training as required by U.S. Government, ensuring each employee met or maintained qualification training as mandated by their career field. Maintained all training records and informed employees of training requirements to ensure required training was scheduled and completed. Ensured compliance with government standards and requirements. • Developed and implemented a spreadsheet that updated changes daily for all newly added job specifications and criteria for mandatory job training for 3,000+ employees. • Revamped an outdated database, ensuring employees met the standards for their jobs; also ensured training was delivered in a timely manner to keep department accreditation and licenses current and valid.
