Daily Duties at Abbott Laboratories:
Oversee group operations and a staff of 7 exempt and non-exempt Analytical Chemists; hire, train, evaluate and monitor work of team. Manage all regulatory compliance measures and audits from internal, FDA, cGMP and GLP governing bodies. Ensure data review and accuracy of reports. - Plan and coordinate all tasks; delegate duties and schedules to team. - Coordinate and assist in the development of test methods; write and submit reports to secure standard test methods for Q/C laboratories. - Technical Consultant for other departments; perform cost analyses for projects. - Evaluate Chemists; assist in writing individual growth development plans. - Research and conduct evaluations on new analytical technology
