Daily Duties at Intermountain Healthcare:
Charge nurse on medical oncology floor, became interim manager of this 38 bed unit where I was responsible for 50+ staff, budget, and operations of the unit. Was asked to assist with the development of an open heart/CCU unit in new hospital being built where I worked with administration and the surgeons to design the CCU and train staff for the new unit. Acted as house supervisor for entire hospital, responsible for daily staffing, emergencies, and problem solving. Worked closely with nursing administration, physicians and emergency room.
