Daily Duties at Carsey Werner, Ltd:
Traveling 37 television markets in the SE launching top Carsey Werner half-hour sitcoms including "3rd Rock From the Sun", "That 70's Show" and "Cosby". Researching every markets demographic (Nielsen) data to create rationale for our shows, distinguishing them from our competitors. Knowing all the ins and outs of my TV stations program schedules and the demographic ratings pattern to be able to speak to that and create confidence that our shows would be a better fit. Constantly building client relationships through entertaining, sports and entertainment venue tickets, souvenirs, promotions to come to Hollywood for a sitcom filming. Weekly letter-writing campaigns followed up by phone calls to let them know when they would expect to see me. Making sure that my name and that of all CW products were always on their mind. Giving highly complicated Power Point presentations to C-level executives and usually the entire sales staff. Making my own travel arrangements, visiting at least two to three markets per week for 42-46 weeks out of the year.
