Daily Duties at Abc National Television Sales:

In charge of procuring the largest share of national annual, quarterly and spot advertising dollars for the 10 Owned and Operated ABC television stations by mainting close client relationships and even closer contact with the 10 ABC National Sales managers to identify the specific selling rates per :30 second spot with ABC programming. Consistently bringing in advertiser dollas that met or exceeded their Neilsen rating demographic. If not, dealt with "make-goods" or running spot again within desired time parameters to insure that cummulative rating goals within desired demographic and time period were met. D Sell UP TV specials such as the CMA (Country Music Awards), Super Bowl, College Football any type of special program. Develop solid client relationships to always be ahead of the advertising buy and smooth over any problems that occur between making intital buy and how the spots actually ran on the respective ABC TV station. Always maintaing follow through with client and station NSM by extreme multitasking, phone contact, daily overnight ratings reports as they pertain to the desired demographic e.g. if client wanted 100 points of Men25-54 and we promised to deliver those points by running their spot in 4 NBA games, but the overnights showed that the 4 games only delivered 75 points, our collaborative job would be to identify other M25-54 dominated programming (i.e. NASCAR) and inputting their advertising spot at no cost to make up for the lost M25-54 ratings points. Always researching entire ABC programming to have extremely thorough and timely knowledge of what program will deliver the most desired points during anytime of the day and because vieweing audiences fluctuate during different seasons of the year, anytime of the year.
