Daily Duties at Macerich, Inc.:
- Responsible for handling all monthly closings and financial reports for up to 5 properties. This included managing fixed assets, capital improvements, working with lease revenue and accounts payable/receivable to resolved issues related to payments and cash flow. - Prepared quarterly forecast reports pertaining to each of the properties. Also performed analysis of financial statements with regards to trends, profitability ratios, and occupancy turnover rates. - Managed the onsite mall team with respect to making sure the mall manager stayed under budget, and hit target dates for tenant improvements and tenant turn over. Developed an understanding for SEC regulations and SOX requirements.
