Daily Duties at Ucsd Medical Center:

Provide administrative support for the Director and Associate Director of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Medicine and other faculty, staff and students. • Word processing, scheduling, research, data entry, transcription, database management, filing and record- keeping, billing, patient safety, peer reviews, financial tracking and project execution. • Prepare financial reports to the medical billing on a weekly basis and track all neurobehavioral billing charges and payments. • Prepare all human subject certification applications according to IRB protocol guidelines. • Assist in obtaining Insurance authorizations and communicating with third- party payers. • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and productively performing several functions at once while responding to changing priorities and numerous interruptions. • Act as liaison between the department and external vendors. • Responsible for generating monthly and ad-hoc report
