Senior Marketing Support Representative (8/84-2/87) Provided technical and marketing support to Systems Engineers and Marketing Representatives for IBM's Mid-Range Systems (S/36, S/38 & 43xx), 9370). Conducted customer briefings, seminars, demonstrations and presentations. Organized and conducted product announcements and release updates for IBM and customer personnel. Provided positioning expertise to sales force for IBM Mid-Range products. Systems Engineering and Customer Center Manager (8/83-8/84) Managed thirteen Systems Engineers and one Marketing Representative. Planned and coordinated the branch office's mass marketing programs and served as Lead Manager for technical problems (S/36, S/38, and 43xx). Staff Advisory Instructor (7/79-8/83) Trained customers and IBM employees on the S/34, S/36, and S/38. Developed and taught courses for the IBM Data Processing Manager's Seminar. (Languages RPG, COBOL, CL). Taught S/38 Database and Sub-file programming techniques in COBOL & RPG III for S/38. Systems Engineer (11/71-7/79) Provided technical and marketing support for all GSD products. Industries supported where Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction, Property Management, Legal Insurance, Retail and Vocational Instruction. Wrote and installed applications written in RPG II. Marketing Representative (5/74-1/76) Provided marketing support for small to medium size customer accounts for IBM GSD. Programmer Analyst (12/68-11/71) Wrote application programs in PL/1 for IBM mainframes.(Manufacturing & Financial Systems)
