Daily Duties at Superior Essex Magnet Wire Division:
•Working with all 5 plants to develop costs •Working with Transportation to estimate freight charges •Working with engineering to meet customer provided specifications or offering alternatives based on manufacturing capabilities •Creation of pricing based on estimated manufacturing and shipping costs, payment terms, minimum order quantities used with a sophisticated copper (raw material)trading futures escalation and de-escalation calculation. •Developing proposals (quotations)to the customer containing pricing, shipping, payment terms and copper change matrix •Negotiating proposal changes to lock in long term contracts icing with the customer •Adding new items as requested by the customer based on the methods above and making addendums to the contracts.
