Daily Duties at Jenkins Engineering, Inc.:
My duties while at Jenkins Engineering included project management of multi-million dollar projects, long range planning, over sight of design engineers, infrastructure master planning, and preparation of technical documents, specifications, and standard operating procedures. As a Project Manager and design engineer I oversaw all aspects of project production to include planning, design, client management, client billing, cost estimation, bid preparations, bidding, and construction management. While with Jenkins Engineering I worked on numerous projects ranging from road and bridge design to large scale commercial and residential developments. As a Project Manager, I undertook marketing programs to develop client contacts with local governmental entities which developed and fostered excellent client relations. Other skills sets I have developed include managing clients expectations, project cost estimation, project proposal writing, revenue management, and the ability to lead personnel in a team environment. I have managed all aspects of project from original conception to construction which included preparation of plans, specifications, construction estimates, bid packets; local, state, and federal permitting, preparation of project status reports to senior management, and project value engineering.
