Daily Duties at Lason Systems, Inc.:

• Managed a complex project by completing technical support/consolidation of an email system conversion project, resulting in improving reliability of email system and enhanced user performance. • Provided technical consultation, and specialized guidance to management and users on computing facilities, network security and systems operations. • Responsible for managing and updating the organization’s DNS Services. • Installed, configured, and upgraded network servers (Novell Netware, NT, and Windows 2000), and computer workstations. • Provided upper management with statistical traffic reports and analysis of email and network utilization across corporate WAN links. • Administered Server/PC technical support -- fault isolated Server, PC hardware/software, printer, router, switch and related network problems. • Trained end users on software applications and analyzed company network for security weaknesses. • Assisted in the planning and installation of the organization’s Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure upgrades.
