Daily Duties at Florida Dept. Of Juvenile Justice System:

• Maintain and provide support for networked computers located at 5 remote office sites consisting of over 250 networked computers and users. • Initiates and responsible for the support, installation, configuration, and monitoring of organization’s Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Internet Services. • Completed File Server installation, configuration and administration of Windows 2003 Servers, Active Directory Security, and computer Virus Protection. • Accomplished the upgrade of over 250 computers located at 5 remote sites ahead of schedule. • Researched and conducted Software and Hardware installation upgrades required to enhance network and data security. • Accomplished the setup and configuration of department remote network scanners and printers used to enhanced user productivity. • Engaged in hardware and software research for future new equipment requisitions. • Conducted customer hardware and software operational training promoting end user proficiency. • Initiated Wireless setup for mobile laptop computers to support remote staff members. • Responsible for Network (WAN/LAN) Equipment, Installation, Operations, and Troubleshooting. • Responsible for Data Backup and Recovery of 4 File and Print Servers and for Technical Support of the organization’s detention center DVR security video recording systems.
