Daily Duties at Usaf :
• Principal advisor to the commander/CEO. Conducted strategic planning and helped formulate a $15M budget and business plan, marketed force health initiative (FHI)… delivered quality healthcare. Developed performance metrics critical for balance score card success • Project Manager: Coordinated the successful activation of the AF’s newest Medical Group. Led and planned the execution the Air Force’s largest outpatient operation for 190K beneficiaries to include all military services and international military members. • Directed and organized training for over 800 medical personnel … ensured proper classification and upgrades and they were mission ready. Trained/documented workflows and executed comprehensive training plan to medical staff that resulted in improved access to care • Directed, developed and implemented healthcare polices, continuous performance improvement protocols and guided doctors, nurses and technicians to prepare for and successfully complete two national healthcare inspections ... garnered excellent ratings • Completed Air Force Smart Operations 21 training and Team Steps (Safety) Champion training; implemented, trained personnel and monitored Patient Safety practices. Reviewed and recommend corrective actions as needed. Patient safety incidents cut by 30% • Project Manager: Planned and conducted medical readiness exercises with entire installation/community to prepare for national disasters and evacuation procedures; planned for the aero evacuation of 400 nursing home patients during Hurricanes Gustav and Ike in 2008. Personally commended by the President of the United States!
