Daily Duties at Choice Hotels International:

IS Governance & IS Project Management

• Responsible, directly and through subordinates, to create, manage and communicate business and IS timelines and project budgets for IS projects.
• Track, communicate and resolve project related issues. Escalate issues. Provide status reporting to Sr. Management team and to executive sponsors.
• Lead post-implementation audits on large projects. Responsible for the overall program budget and tracking/reporting of associated projects’ budget and variances using the Clarity Toolset.

• Direct daily activities of project/program managers; provide project management guidance and consulting for shifting priorities. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, orientation, development, evaluation and disciplining of associates. Develop career path for associates. Establish, document & maintain controls, policies & procedures for the IS PMO.
• Participate in regular SCRUM standups and grooming sessions.

• Leading the Sharepoint deployment effort to centralize program/project management platform.
• Contribute to management of business relationships across all business units to ensure clear communication and understanding on progress and priority on all the departments IS related projects.
• Daily responsibilities include program/project initiation and planning, management of specific deliverables, timelines and budget, analysis of requirements, identification and development of best practices, internal and external communication, and quality assurance.
• Manage and communicate processes for analysis, scheduling and decision making for appropriate assignment of project priorities. Lead project scope sessions with key business departments to ensure clear understanding of new projects
