Daily Duties at Ajm Packaging Corp.:
•Analyze mechanical machinery on the production floor for production run time efficiency and recommend solutions and build modular proto-type fixtures for machinery. •Update/created all mechanical drawings of machinery using Catia V5. •Update all electrical schematics using AutoCAD 2008. •Establish set up procedures for all machines in the Detroit facility and documented and trained both operators and supervisors on how to perform set up. •Build set up fixtures and jigs for all machines to utilize depth-mics, height gauges, indicators, and calipers and incorporated GD&T principles for set up. Also conduct GD&T studies upon receiving tooling from vendors and incorporate findings into mechanical prints via Catia V5. •Work with vendors on electro-mechanical upgrades and manage upgrade projects. •Create BOM sheets in AutoCAD for machinery utilizing the company’s outside vendors to facilitate ordering parts and reducing part stock outages.
