Daily Duties at Harvard Medical School:
Promoted to Program Administrator in 2000. Coordinated and developed organizational systems for event planning for annual three-day student revisitation weekend for approximately 65 participants. Supervised over 25 temporary work-study and casual staff members. Trained permanent and temporary staffs. Designed and facilitated office operations for 13 years. Managed daily operations during transitional periods. Designed, organized, and directed the flow of computer and hard copy departmental administrative systems, which resulted in higher levels of efficiency and time savings. Set and implemented projects with conflicting timelines in high-traffic environment, while consistently meeting all deadlines. Managed departmental purchases and online budget updates. Conducted proposal writing. Developed and wrote departmental instructional manual. Conducted research for administrative projects. Conceptualized, designed, managed production, and increased quality of over 100 graphic pieces; including two departmental websites and a quarterly newsletter as well as numerous brochures, booklets, posters, event programs, and invitations.
