Division Operations Manager, Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), Transfer Station (TS) s Oversee and direct production & manufacturing operations while managing 7 salaried direct reports and 235 indirect reports, driving effort to create a cohesive and productive infrastructure. s Plan, administer, track, and reconcile a $24 million annual operating budget while maintaining continuous operational improvement. s Re-negotiated 3P transportation contracts to yield annualized savings of 20%. s Developed, planned, and implemented an improved 3P transportation tracking process which improved efficiency and cut administrative labor costs by 75%. s Reduce transportation operating cost/ton by 20% while improving transportation efficiency. s Manage inbound and outbound traffic of over 300 tons of commodities monthly by both I/C and 3P transportation. s Collaborate regularly with Operations Managers in Maintenance, and Hauling divisions to cultivate strategic planning efforts by aligning business goals to achieve revenue, profit, and growth objectives. s Improve overall safety program by representing management on the Division Safety Committee and involving employees from all division lines of business in the evaluation and resolution of safety issues. s Collaborate with local and state regulators to effectively manage safety and compliance. Key Accomplishments: - Developed and implemented tracking tools using key metrics and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues resulting in improved product quality and production. - Improved problem solving abilities of subordinates by defining accountability and providing daily and weekly results of key production metrics.
