From Aug 1972 through May 1977, worked in wafer fabrication. Starting as production operator trainee, learning all processing in masking and diffusion, aluminum evaporation, poly silicon reactor, vapox reactor, electrical testing and ion implanttion, progressing to a specialist category with supervisory responsibilities and in 1974 attained engineering technician status. May 1977 transferred to the design department as Junior Draftsperson. Also worked on Calma CAD Digitizing System.
